Cage Warriors 48 took place this evening in London, England and put on a quite a night of fights for their tenth anniversary show. In the main event, Chris Fields seemed to be handling John Phillips for a round and a half, and had Phillips in several bad positions and threatening with submissions. Half way through the second round, Phillips was able to grab a hold of Fields’ neck and cinch up the guillotine choke from his back. The co-main event was a back and forth affair between Danny Roberts and Jack Mason. Roberts was able to the turn the tables from his back, and control the arm of Mason from his back.  Mason was forced to tap when Roberts was able to hyper-extend his arm giving Roberts the submission win in the second round.

Cage Warriors 47 took place Saturday night in Dublin, Ireland, and if you were lucky enough to be watching at home you were treated to a magnificent night of MMA. In the main event, it was champion Mike Hayes vs. DJ Linderman in a heavyweight title bout. The title fight went 5 rounds, and it was new champion D.J. Linderman  who pulled out the unanimous decision win.

In the co main event it was Conor McGreggor who put the pressure on Dave Hill from the first horn. Conor dropped hill in the first round, but was unable to finish Hill, and by the end of the round Hill had turned the tables on McGreggor and almost had a submission of his own. However, in the second round it was all McGreggor who dropped Hill again, and secured the rear naked choke to win the vacant Cage Warriors Featherweight Title.
