According to MMA Junkie, Strikeforce officials have confirmed that the November 20th Challenger Series card will take place at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.
November will be a busy month for Strikeforce, because Strikeforce will have events November 6th and November 7th on top of the November 20th event. This will be the first time in the short history of Strikeforce that they will have done three events in the same month.
The announcement of the Strikeforce “Challenger Series” event came from Titan Entertainment and Combat Sports Championships president Joe Kelly. According to Joe Kelly in conjunction with X fights, he would be bringing the Strikeforce “Challenger Series” card to Kansas city.
Joe Kelly had this to say at the press release October 3rd, “the MMA scene in Kansas has been overlooked for quite some time, however we’re bringing bigger and better events to the area and this region is quickly emerging into a hot bed for the sport. We’re really looking forward to creating a platform for rising prospects to take their respective careers to the next level. November 20th will be another major step in that direction.”
No fights have been confirmed yet, but Kim Couture vs Kerry Vera, and the highly touted brazilian jiu jitsu ace Roger Gracie have been rumored to be a part of the event.
